National Panasonic Toot-a-loop 72 - Vintage 1970’s wrap-around-your-wrist radio!
Here’s another fine example of vintage japanese electronic design, which definitely deserve space on the retrolution hall of fame shelves.
This very slick designed radio can be worn around your wrist, as well as being turned 180 degrees to form a s-shape. Unfortunately this radio only got AM band, just as the Panapet. Has got build-in speaker, volume button, ear-phone plug and a nice toot-a-loop metal plate at the oppisite end of the futuristic AM-tuner seen on the picture below. Mine is red, a bit worn but was bought for just $5 - not for sale.

Indeed - but imagine in the 1970’s it must have been a way of being different and sending clear signals that you’re hip and on the beat
